Panic Handles and Locking Systems
It is most important to make the right choice of systems to install in order to achieve proper functionality of the panic door, taking into account the direction of opening, the configuration of the door, and whether there are multiple locking points.
In single-leaf doors, virtually any type of handle can be installed without functional inconvenience arising.
In the two-leaf door, the necessary items must be carefully chosen to ensure proper functionality of the door. The standard states:
in the case of double-leaf doors with rebate, the main leaf must open independently, while if the handle of the secondary leaf is operated, the leaves must open simultaneously.
In the case of 2-leaf doors without rebate, each of the 2 leaves shall be independent
