Last 20 April 2012 was published in the Official Journal the expected DPR implementing the European regulation n. 842 on certain fluorinated greenhouse gases.

The Decree governs the procedures for obtaining the certification of operators as well as those for the designation of certification bodies and provides for the establishment of a National Register of Persons and Certified Companies.

On 11 February 2013, the National Telematic Register of Persons and Certified Companies established pursuant to Art. 13 of Presidential Decree 43/2012 implementing European Regulation No. 842 cited above.

Those who do not certify will no longer be able to perform installation, maintenance or repair operations on plants and extinguishers containing fluorinated greenhouse gases (HFC 227ea, HFC125, HFC23).
