MIAC, international paper industry exhibition
MIAC, International Exhibition of the Paper Industry is the Italian event organized since its first edition (1994) for the technological updating of paper mill technicians and paper and cardboard converters.
Welcomed with great interest since its first year of debut, the MIAC has reached its 18th edition. It was held in Lucca from 12 October 2011 to 14 October 2011.

Miac, the international exhibition dedicated to paper companies, hosts highly qualified and innovative companies every year which present, in the exhibition area of the Lucca exhibition centre, cutting-edge machines, systems and solutions to better manage the various phases of the production cycle and converting of paper and cardboard, providing paper technicians with a unique opportunity for a direct discussion on the various needs and problems of the sector. The fair expands its operations through themed meetings and conferences for all operators, technicians and managers of paper mills and converters to analyze the situation on the market trend of the paper sector, future prospects, trends and new technologies available.

The choice of the exhibition city is not accidental, in fact Lucca represents the most important "Paper Pole" in Italy and has been considered as the only "Paper District" at European level.
